Homemade Milk Replacer

Ingredients:
1 gallon Milk (store bought is fine)
1 can Evaporated milk
1 cup Buttermilk

Remove enough milk from the store bought gallon to fit in the can of evaporated milk and the 1 cup of Buttermilk. Mix will. This works better than the powdered milk replacer because there isn't any water mixed into the milk. The water that is added to the milk replacer is what causes the animals to scour.

The best "store bought" milk replacer that I have ever bought is Save a Calf brand in the black bag.
I have used plenty of replacers in the past but this brand doesn't give the kids scours, and I think that
they do pretty well on it. With the cost of milk (if you don't have any lactating does) is so high that
this is a cheaper alternative that works!
